Tania Mosse
I was born and grew up in Bennettsbridge, Co. Kilkenny. I moved to London in 1988. Then in 1994 I moved from London to Presteigne, Wales where I am presently living and working.
I studied Fine Art at Winchester School of Art and then Leeds College of Art. More recently I took a postgraduate course in Art Therapy at Goldsmiths College, London.
I exhibit regularly in England and Wales and occasionally in Ireland. In the last three years I have been on two residencies at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre, Co
Monaghan and one at Cill Rialaig, Co. Kerry.
As well as making sculpture I cut letters in stone for plaques and memorials to commission. I teach part-time with the Sidney Nolan Trust Sculpture Programme.
I use a wide range of materials in my work, principally stone and bronze.
